My Story 

For most of my life, I was surrounded by narcissistic behaviors, manipulation, control, and dysfunction.

I experienced these dynamics in my family growing up, and later found myself navigating many of the same patterns in my first marriage.

For years, I watched conversations get twisted, events rewritten, and my words taken out of context. I found myself constantly defending things I never said, explaining intentions that were repeatedly misunderstood, and questioning my own reality.

The divorce that followed lasted nearly a decade and left me carrying nearly $20,000 in legal debt. What should have been a process of moving forward often felt like a never-ending cycle of conflict, accusations, distortions, and emotional exhaustion.

The more I tried to be heard, the more invisible I felt.

Looking back, I can see that the greatest cost wasn't the money. It was the years spent questioning myself instead of trusting what I knew to be true.

At the time, I didn't have the language for what I was experiencing.

I just knew something felt wrong.

Years later, watching my daughter confront similar dynamics became a turning point. Seeing someone I loved navigate the same confusion, self-doubt, manipulation, and emotional turmoil forced me to look at everything differently.

It was no longer just my story.

It was a pattern.

But this isn't just a story about surviving.

It's a story about what happens after.

Today, I am married to an incredible man who shows up every day with love, respect, consistency, and integrity. He is the kind of husband and father I once wasn't sure existed.

Together, we've built a peaceful, healthy, and beautiful life.

The kind of life I once thought was only possible for other people.

And that's why I do this work.

Because I want people to know that healing is possible.

Healthy relationships are possible.

Peace is possible.

You are not doomed to repeat the same pattern forever.
